How did the railroad stop 150 years ago at the station before the brakes existed? Could the first computer already count up to 100? And: why do the sailor's knots have in fact bays and eyes? The German Museum of the Technology of Berlin gives us the answers for almost 30 years.

In the 14 sections that the Museum the visitors can discover the fascinating technical history that has the civilization and take part in it. More than 40 railroad cars of between 1843 and 1985 await the visitors to be discoverered, who will be able to sit down in the seat of the chief of a steam locomotive. Big and small sailors can explore a real interior freighter and those who want to feel craftsmen will be able to make their own role. Do you want to research on the development of the aviation and astronautics, study in depth the manufacture of jewels and of motorcars, know more closely the devices of telecommunication, the energy skill and the telecommunications or visit the historical brewery and the old mills? The German Museum of Technich of Berlin exhibits from numerous works like for example ancient tickets of meter as well as the machines to sting, up to the papers regarding the first exits of plane, the whole development of the technology without which the world of nowadays would not be possible.
